Comments
I recently drove 600 miles from Milford, CT to Hershey, Pa. and back with a 60KW Model S. I charged at home in Range Mode, stopped at Darien Supercharger to top off, charged at Delaware Supercharger and then charged in front of Chocolate World under the solar array. It took a little more time and planning but it worked great. We stopped at Delaware and Darien on the return trip, probably could have skipped Darien but needed to use restroom anyway. For one leg of the trip we averaged about 270 Wh/mile at 65 mph with AC on for about 170 miles. My average Wh/mile is 310 for the last 3,169 miles this is most likely a combination of warmer temps, software updates and less spirited driving.
