Comments
Battery degradation RATE seems to be tapering off. Earlier in the car's life I was calculating 1% range loss every 12,500 miles. Mid-life = 1% range loss every 15,500 miles, now at 200,000 miles I'm calculating 1% range loss for every 18,880 miles of driving. Probably similar to what your curves would predict. Degradation is tapering off. We'd love to keep owning & driving this car but I'm a bit concerned we'll get a catastrophic battery failure. I think last time we emailed, Tom S. mentioned a 6% chance of a battery pack failure. This car has been an incredible workhorse for us. We drive it daily through the -10°F Minnesota winters and it still appears good enough to take to local car shows.
