Comments
One way daily (M-F) commute is 60 km/37 mi. Started out with Level II dock at home (overnight) charging to 100%, then 120V at work (to 100% from about 40%), so charging was slower about 50% of the time which may have extended the battery life. Got Level II (240V, 16A) charging at work in June 2012 which allowed for 80% charge at home and 80% charge at work. Now I can drive at more typical highway speeds so the commute is more "normal" but I am charging approx. 20 kwh per day. I have to say the reports from the US LEAF owners in AZ and the traffic on the MyNissanLeaf site have me freaking out a bit, even if I do live in a much cooler climate.
