I think that the battery is cycle limited. Also a full 240V charge heats the battery at least 15 deg f. Frequent charges never give the battery a chance to cool. The more miles you can achieve per cycle the more miles per battery life. Using leaf spy to calculate I use less than 200 watts per mile. I drive carefully on slow roads. Hard to say about the "hot" battery but my original battery looses capacity when above 5 temp bars. There may be loss in cooler temps but it shows above 5 bars. | |
